Photo Exhibit #3: Cleveland Rising: This City is Our Home

Back in July, American Greetings kindly provided gallery space for a two week exhibit themed "Cleveland Rising: This City is Our Home." The opening featured not only Cleveland-based photography, but also the world premiere of the demo of "Cleveland Rising: This City is My Home," a song co-written by Vanessa Daffron and Alex Sukhoy, with guest musicians Daniel Baxter, Evan Lieberman, Tony DePiano and Jon Niefeld, who has recorded with The Rembrandts. The song is part of the "So Long, Marianne" film project.

Nearly 100 people attended the "Cleveland Rising" show and several attendees generously purchased a total of ten pieces, for a 33% sell-through. You can view remaining 20 photographs, currently on display, at Studio Palmieri, the first commercial location that took a risk on me and gave me space.

On this page are some photos from the actual event, as well as the poster that marketed the exhibit.

Enjoy.
